Even so, the calm, reassuring nature of this glider has to be experienced to be believed. Pitching movements are effectively reduced, so the wing has a strong tendency to remain solidly above the pilot, even when entering or leaving a strong thermal. The glide performance of the Oxygen is especially impressive when the glider is accelerated - even at maximum speed the sink rate remains low. And this performance is fully usable, because the glider still feels stable even fully accelerated.
